Regional Funding Grants 2025-2026 - NOW OPEN!
The Regional Events Fund supports events that drive overnight visitation and boost local economies in regional NSW. Since its inception, the program has provided over $14 million to more than 530 events.
Events must take place between 1 July 2025 and 30 June 2026 and be located within one of the seven Destination Networks.

GRIFFIN Accelerator is a three-month intensive program to connect start-up businesses with seasoned Canberra entrepreneurs to find new ways to grow their business, develop pathways to customers and make product progress.

28 JULY Bango Wind Farm Community Enhancement Fund
Community groups are invited to apply for support through the Bango Wind Farm Community Enhancement Fund, which opens to applications on Monday 1 July 2024. This fund, now in its second year, aims to distribute the financial benefits of the Bango Wind Farm among not-for-profit organisations, associations, and clubs that contribute positively to the local community.

This program aims to help the NSW community rediscover the culture, the events and the people that shaped transport in NSW over the past 170 years, as well as support the restoration and conservation of, and access to the valuable heritage assets (including buildings, rolling stock, vehicles, museum objects and collections).

Do you have an idea that could help your community better understand or access phone and internet services? The Regional Tech Hub Connect Grants are now open, offering small grants to support practical, local initiatives that improve connectivity literacy in rural, regional, and remote Australia.
We’re looking to support activities like local events, workshops, resource development, training, and awareness campaigns — anything that helps people better understand and troubleshoot connectivity challenges where they live.

With a total funding pool of $240,000, this program seeks to support community-based approaches which encourage and enable people to seek mental health support services; reduce stigma surrounding mental health; and reduce social isolation by fostering inclusion and connection in the community.

The Tim Fischer Fellowship (TFF) is a prestigious program designed to support individuals passionate about making a difference in rural and regional Australia. Inspired by Tim Fischer’s honesty, integrity, and selflessness, this Fellowship supports a recipient with up to $50,000 in funding, mentorship, and networking opportunities to help turn their bold ideas into reality.

18 Aug - Hilltops Local heritage Grant
Provided by Heritage NSW, the Local Heritage Fund provides owners opportunities to apply for small grants to continue to conserve, manage and maintain the significance of local heritage items.
Applications, including quotations for the proposed work, close on Monday 18 August 2025 and the work must be completed by Friday 10 April, 2026.

5 SEP - ACT Community gardens Grants
This program aims to support the delivery of community gardens across Canberra that enhance community places and spaces.
Grants between $2,000 (GST exclusive) and $10,000 (GST exclusive) are available per eligible organisation/s.
A total funding pool of $40,000 (GST exclusive) is available.

Eurobodalla Shire Council - Mayoral Representatives Grants
This program aims to provide financial assistance to individuals or teams, that have been selected to represent Eurobodalla at a state, national or international level.
Grants available are up to:
$400 for individuals.
$750 for teams.

Bega Valley Shire Council- Waste Program
This program aims to encourage and assist community involvement in the management of waste minimisation and education for the benefit of the whole region.
The program will be offered over a six-year period in conjunction with Bournda Environmental Education Centre.
Grants of up to $500 are available.
A total funding pool of $10,000 is available ($2,000 per school).
Applicants are expected to contribute to the project through in-kind use of labour or materials.

goulburn-mulwaree council - event development funding
This program aims to support the development of vibrant, creative and innovative events that enhance the economic, social and cultural life in the Goulburn-Mulwaree region.
There are two funding streams available:
1. Sports Tourism Event funding
2. Tourism Event Development funding
Applications must be received a minimum of three months prior to the commencement of the event. Applications will be considered outside these timelines on a case-by-case basis.
Applicants must contact the program administrator prior to submitting an application.

Goulburn-mulwaree council - mayor discretionary fund
This program aims to assist with small projects and community initiatives.
There are no specified minimum and maximum funding limits.
The Mayor will have discretion to make donations up within the annual allocated budget. Funding request should be made in writing.

CLEAN UP GRANT - Assessed Monthly
Clean Up Grant (maximum of $575)
Clean Up grants aim to support organisations that are actively:
cleaning up public areas
assisting community members with complex needs, including hoarding behaviours
This grant provides up to $575 (in waste vouchers) to cover council waste facility fees associated with:
the disposal of general waste
the disposal of green waste
the disposal of other waste items
purchasing compost or mulch

ONgoing - ACT Major event fund
This program aims to deliver a mechanism for investing in, supporting and leveraging major events in Canberra. It has been established to support major event opportunities that can:
Drive substantial economic impact for Canberra through event-based tourist visitation and visitor spend, and by filling identified gaps in Canberra's annual events calendar.
Provide opportunities for marketing and promotion of the Canberra region to key domestic and (when applicable) international audiences.
Grants between $50,000 and $500,000 are available.
Applications must be submitted six months prior to the commencement of the event.

This program aims to encourage the uptake of rooftop solar installations in apartment complexes. These shared solar installations are expected to be sustainable solutions at the local and community level that will:
Help residents of apartment complexes enjoy reduced energy costs.
Help apartment complexes transition off gas.
Support development of the renewable energy and sustainable services industry in the ACT.

CWA NSW/ACT Drought relief
CWA of NSW has a strong track record in drought relief. We’ve supported thousands of families through previous droughts and we’re doing it again now. Thanks to our generous donors, we’ve released up to $250,000 to support those hardest hit this winter.
