Early Childhood Education & Care Survey
Regional Development Australia Southern NSW & ACT (RDASNA) is conducting this survey to understand current access to early childhood education and care (ECEC), along with workforce and service pressures across Southern NSW and the ACT.
The survey includes a short set of regional questions followed by a small number of questions relevant to your primary connection to ECEC. It should take approximately 5–8 minutes to complete.
In this survey, ECEC includes centre-based day care, preschool or kindergarten, family day care, outside school hours care, occasional care and in-home care.
Survey responses will be used to support regional research, planning, reporting and advocacy. Findings will be reported in a way that does not identify individual respondents. After consenting, you may optionally provide contact details if you would like to participate in future annual surveys or be contacted about your response.
This survey relates to the RDASNA region, which includes the ACT and the Bega Valley, Eurobodalla, Goulburn Mulwaree, Hilltops, Queanbeyan-Palerang, Snowy Monaro, Upper Lachlan, Wingecarribee and Yass Valley local government areas.
The survey will remain open until 11:45 pm on Sunday 13 September 2026.
